Agia Anna is a small seaside settlement on the southwest coast of Naxos, built around a picturesque little harbour with fishing boats and the chapel that gave it its name. Its sandy beach stretches out in front of tavernas and beach bars and runs on, without interruption, into Agios Prokopios on one side and towards the dunes of Plaka on the other.
The water is shallow and calm on most days, the sunsets face west and unobstructed, and towards Plaka the cedars along the sand offer natural shade. In the evening the village keeps an easy island rhythm: fish tavernas by the water, cocktails on the sand and moonlit walks along the shore. In the 1970s and 80s this was a beloved secret of free campers, before it grew into today's organised but still peaceful resort.
Coast of Dreams sits on the first line of the Agia Anna seafront: you can hear the waves from the terrace, the tavernas and beach bars are a few steps away, and the famous beach of Agios Prokopios is just 250 m away. Two ground-floor apartments, adults only.

Caiques once loaded the famous Naxian potatoes of the plain from this quay. Today it moors fishing boats and excursion caiques, and the chapel of Saint Anne beside it gave the village its name.
Every year on Saint Anne's day the village holds its panigiri: a service at the chapel followed by feasting and local music. If you are here in late July, don't miss it.
In season, a water taxi links Agia Anna's little harbour with Piso Livadi on Paros in about 25 minutes: possibly the prettiest "commute" in the Cyclades for a day trip.
A coastal path leaves Agia Anna, passes Maragas and carries on to the dunes of Plaka: perfect for a morning walk or a sunset stroll, always with the sea at your side.
